Wedding Photography...

Many people ask me how to master
wedding photography
and what advice can
I give. My answer is this- “it depends on what outcome you are trying to
achieve”.
It depends on where the wedding is held, what time of day or night you are
shooting it, whether it is indoors or outdoors and how close you can get to
the guests. What’s also important is what ‘look’ and ‘feel’ you want to your
photos. You might be shooting in black and white during the day which can
change the way you take the photo. Alternatively you might be shooting in
full colour in dim light in a church on a winters evening which will be
different to the way you take black and white photos. Or perhaps you are
shooting a beach wedding right in the middle of the say during summer with
all its hard light challenges…. the list goes on!
The fact is that just because it’s a wedding you are shooting the same rules
about indoor lighting, outdoor lighting, portraits, flash, social
indiscretion and exposures still apply. There is not “one” thing you must do
in order to get sensational shots of weddings, there are so many variables
for
wedding photography.
