Judge’s Feedback:

Christina has done a great job in capturing the action in this lovely candid moment. The little girl runs playfully across a yard, chasing bubbles, which creates a wonderful story of the photo. It is engaging due to the innocence, which is expressed by the subject and the additional props (the bubbles).

Even though the little girl is a little underexposed, the depth of field is appropriate for the scene. The underexposure can be quickly and easily fixed in the post editing process, such as using the adjustment brush in Lightroom or Photoshop. The backlighting works well to emphasis the bubbles. The backlight also provides a lovely rim light on the little girl, (the line of light around her right side, left arm and hair).

Well done Christina.
