Why Chris won:
Chris has been able to capture a really subtle angle, as if we’re not meant to be there but somehow caught a glimpse of an intimate and quiet moment.
Voyeur shots are always really effective. Even from a rear angle we are still able to get a feeling for the love and gentleness between parent and child. Not only was Chris clever in doing this but the lighting and composition are just wonderful.
Everything within this photo works so very well and gives us an insight into the relationship between a young man and his little boy.
